The Hollies is a short distance from the city centre and is situated on a main bus route. Therefore there is easy access to the numerous facilities that Wakefield provides and many of our residents enjoy visits into town. There are also a number of taxi companies who provide a service to the home, some with disabled access.
The Hollies itself is situated directly opposite the College Grove sports ground and because of our elevated position we have a grandstand view of the activities that take place there (including hockey and bowls) as well as easy access to take a closer look!
In addition the local hospitals are less than a mile away which is convenient and reassuring for when we require their services.
